Combines exerpts of Simon Reynolds’ book ENERGY FLASH: A
JOURNEY THROUGH RAVE MUSIC AND DANCE CULTURE with
quotes from pirate radio DJs and MCs, using a system of radio
frequencies to denote the speaker and content.
The text visually changes between certain frequencies, allowing readers to tune in to the different voices telling the story of 90's UK Pirate Radio Jungle.
The custom image processing program uses a series of WebGL shaders visually emulate the image data being sent along the frequencies.
